This is a stunning pair of hand-carved wood sculptures by renowned folk artist John Gallagher. These substantial pieces feature a Native American Chief in a full headdress holding a pipe and a woman carrying a baby in a papoose while holding colorful flint corn. Both pieces are prominently signed "J. GALLAGHER" on the sleeve/arm, and are in excellent condition.
