Up for sale is an authentic vintage hand-painted porcelain figurine of the Mad Hatter from the renowned Alice in Wonderland series by Beswick (produced under Royal Doulton Tableware Ltd). Modelled after John Tenniel’s iconic original 1865 book illustrations, the Mad Hatter is depicted holding his teacup and bread/butter slice, wearing his signature top hat marked "In this Style 10/6". Bottom backstamp reads "ALICE SERIES - 'Mad Hatter' - BESWICK MADE IN ENGLAND - (C) ROYAL DOULTON TABLEWARE LTD 1974". Vintage pre-owned condition with vibrant colors and crisp glaze finish.
