Offered here is an original late-19th-century Victorian trade card advertising Hoyt’s German Cologne and Rubifoam for the Teeth, manufactured by E. W. Hoyt & Co. of Lowell, Massachusetts.

The front features a beautifully chromolithographed Rococo-style courting scene with delicate pastel coloring, florals, and ornate gold-tone lettering—an excellent example of high-end Victorian advertising art. The reverse is densely printed in blue ink with detailed promotional copy, pricing, and retailer information for Dr. H. P.
