Original R.A. Miller (1912–2006) hand-painted metal chicken cut-out, created by the celebrated folk/outsider artist from Gainesville, Georgia.

Miller frequently worked on found tin and scrap metal, cutting out angels, roosters, devils, and animals to display across his hillside home. Tin pieces are especially collectible because they reflect the materials seen in his yard installations. 

This example features a bold folk-art chicken silhouette painted in red, green, and black, with Miller’s characteristic energetic brushwork. It is signed “R A Miller” in white paint along the body.
