Original 1907 religious tract titled Mother’s Sermon by William Ashley “Billy” Sunday, published by the Journal Publishing Company of Sturgis, Michigan. Staple-bound softcover, 29 pages. Includes portraits of Sunday’s mother and son (“Billy” Sunday Jr.). One of the earliest printed sermon pamphlets by the famed American evangelist and former baseball player. This example retains the original tan wraps with decorative border and period typography. Some minor creasing, edge wear, and small tears along spine consistent with age. A scarce and appealing piece of early 20th-century revivalist ephemera.
