Authentic 1930s Ideal Shirley Temple 16" Composition Doll Marked Original Shoes

Authentic vintage 1930s original all-composition Shirley Temple doll produced by the Ideal Novelty & Toy Co. (circa 1934–1939). Clearly embossed on the back of the neck: "SHIRLEY TEMPLE / IDEAL NOVELTY & TOY CO." This doll features an original blonde curly mohair wig styled in signature Shirley ringlets, sleep glass eyes with lashes, and an open smiling mouth showing upper teeth. The body is an all-composition fully jointed child body, dressed in a cream tiered party dress with an elaborate faux-pearl webbed collar/necklace bib, original cream socks, and authentic 1930s center-snap buckle toddler shoes with smooth soles. Good authentic vintage condition. Face retains bright complexion/paint. Sleeping eyes show expected age-related clouding/crystallization common to 1930s celluloid/glass mechanisms. Hair is full and retains original curls. Composition limbs and torso are structurally sound. Garments show light age-toning.
