Authentic antique 1920s Whiting & Davis Co. metal ring-mesh evening bag / flapper purse. Made of classic flexible fine ring-mesh body with stepped, fringe-style lower ring tiers. Silver-plated/nickel-plated metal frame featuring delicate incised geometric chasing along the border, a dual kiss-lock clasp, and an original delicate link chain handle. Good vintage/antique condition. Mesh is in tact, with two minor holes where the mesh meets the corners of the frame. Kiss-clasp closes firmly and stays shut.
