Offered here is an original antique souvenir booklet titled The Pike’s Peak Region (subtitled Scenic Gems of the Pike’s Peak Region), published and copyrighted by The H. H. Tammen Company, Denver, Colorado. This early 20th-century pictorial book features beautiful color lithographic reproductions of iconic Colorado scenery including Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, St. Peter’s Dome, and the Cripple Creek Short Line.

The cover is printed with ornate gilt and black art nouveau design elements, with a mounted color illustration. Inside, richly colored plates are paired with descriptive text, making this a wonderful period piece of Rocky Mountain tourism history.
