Offered here is a beautiful antique French railway travel brochure titled Jura, Burgundy, issued by the Chemins de Fer de Paris à Lyon et à la Méditerranée (PLM). This illustrated guide was produced to promote travel to the Jura and Burgundy regions of France during the early 20th century, likely c.1910s–1920s.
The cover features a striking lithograph artwork of a waterfall, signed by artist Julien Lacaze. Inside are rich black-and-white photographs, regional descriptions, and fold-out color maps of Jura and Burgundy, as well as a rear cover system map of the PLM railway lines across France, including connections to the Mediterranean.
