This design features a hinged top lid secured by an ornate cast brass/iron rooster-shaped hook latch. The sides and back include draft vents to allow air circulation for burning coals inside. Includes the internal slotted cast iron charcoal grate at the bottom, rear draft door, heat shield plate, and a turned wooden grip handle. Authentic antique condition with natural surface rust, aging patina, and light paint wear on the red wooden handle as shown. Hinge, latch, and vents function properly.
