Antique 1920s Art Deco Dance Compact Wristlet Tassel Jeweled Peacock Locket Rouge

Authentic 1920s Art Deco flapper dance compact wristlet featuring ornate gilt metalwork and a figural peacock locket fob. The main compact is an octagonal brass/gilt case with an elaborate raised pierced filigree medallion set with emerald green glass rhinestones, topped with a flexible woven snake chain tassel, and opens to reveal both a mirror, and the original pink rouge powder. The secondary peacock fob is connected by an articulated link chain, the circular fob features a raised figural peacock with outspread plumage encrusted with emerald green and amber/topaz rhinestones. Opens on a hinge to reveal an interior vanity mirror. Excellent antique condition. Rich gold patina with minimal plating loss. All rhinestones are present and bright. Tassel links and chain are intact with no breaks. Both compact and locket snap open and shut cleanly. Residual vintage rouge powder remains inside. Please see photos for detailed scale and condition.
