1880s School Matinee Theater Ticket – Academy of Music – Victorian Ephemera

Original late-19th-century theater ticket advertising The School Master’s Tricks, a “Grand Souvenir Matinee” presented at the Academy of Music.
Printed on pink card stock, this ticket entitled school pupils (15¢) or adults (25¢) to a Saturday afternoon performance and promises a “handsome present” for attendees—an appealing glimpse into Victorian-era educational entertainment.

Untrimmed, with original folds and light age wear consistent with period ephemera. Blank reverse with minor pencil notation. A scarce survival of school and theater history from the 1880s–1890s.
