The blade is a straight, double-edged spear point blade with central fuller. Hilt \u0026amp; Mount: Distinctive curved hooked quillon crossguard, contoured walnut wood grip scales secured by two screw rivets, and bird's head pommel with functional spring locking stud. - Scabbard \u0026amp; Frog: Original blued steel scabbard with ball finial tip, fitted with an intact antique heavy leather belt frog. Very good authentic antique military surplus condition. The blade maintains a bright factory profile with surface runner marks, spotting, and darkening toward the tip; no significant nicks or reprofiling to the edges. Crossguard and pommel display honest dark patina\/oxidation. Wood grips are solid with no cracks. The steel scabbard has developed a uniform brown\/surface patina with light age pitting. Leather frog remains complete and pliable with authentic service wear.
